Field Service Forklift Technician | Chicago, IL

Hubtex North America, Inc. has a regional field service position opening for an experienced lift truck and sideloader technician.
We are a medium sized equipment distribution company with a great, dedicated team of hard working employees. We are involved in projects ranging from handling missiles and aircraft fuselages to the standard applications of handling 5 ton bundles of steel. Our products are well known to be best in class and we work hard to keep our reputation for being a reliable partner second to none.

As a part of our field service maintenance and repair team, you are responsible for new unit installations as well as troubleshoot, service and repair existing electric or engine powered sideloader trucks and other specialty equipment.

• 8 hour shift (Monday to Friday)

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver license.
• Related experience in a field service technician/ mechanic/ heavy equipment maintenance and repair role.
• Must be able to analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot repairs on electric, propane, IC and diesel powered units.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to promptly and thoroughly complete all paperwork.
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Specialty tool will be company supplied.
